The success of edi can be attributed to six years of friendship, trials and triumphs. Even in the face of change, edi has shown what loyalty and dedication can achieve. This brotherhood of four rockers performs as tightly as their friendship. With a full album and an EP under their belts, anticipation runs high for the release of their next album titled “WHAT’S.INSIDE” slated for April 1st 2006. The quality of lyrics and musicianship explains the attention the industry is giving this project. edi has grown tremendously with the help of veteran recording guru Jim Wirt. Jim is known for his work as producer for bands such as: Live, Incubus, Hoobastank, Something Corporate, Jacks Mannequin, Hidden in Plain View, Fiona Apple and many more.

edi's newest release “WHAT’S.INSIDE” comes from “years of frustration trying to write songs that fit into a sound that’s hot right now!”, says song writer Eddie Lee. “Finally I just said, 'forget it, lets just do what comes naturally to us, our band, our music!'” It was a good thing too because it seemed to grab the attention of many fans and peers. Jeff Smith, owner of Studio 2100 had this to say about the band, “I have had the opportunity to work with many great bands over the years, but the group edi stands out among many of the rest”. He went on to say, “They share a passion and dedication for what they do that is uncommon in many other bands”. About the bands musicianship he said “...amazing musical growth in playing and songwriting. Their musical understanding has become unparalleled in a very short amount of time.” Producer Jim Wirt said, “This was my favorite album I’ve worked on all year!” Jim also said about singer Eddie Lee, “at points I swear I can hear two people singing and it's just him.” At different times during the recording of “WHAT’S.INSIDE” Jim would call Eddie, “Don Lennon” inferring that his vocal sound was a mix of Don Henley of The Eagles and John Lennon of The Beatles. Needless to say, edi has come to a place where there is no where else to go but up.

“WHAT’S.INSIDE” is a photo album of words. Yes, its pop rock, which is typically know for great hooks and not much else.
